First a bare minimum about me. I'm Jeff Treder. I am, not uniquely, a thinking-person's Jesus-follower. I was born in California in 1941, became a Christian in 1966, and got a Ph.D in English literature from Harvard in 1968. Ever since, I have been studying the Bible, trying to follow where it leads, and thinking a lot about the whole thing. More stuff about me may emerge as this blog trucks along, but that's enough to start with.
I understand the Bible a lot better than I understand blogging, so we'll see how this goes. My idea is to post a short article (or part of one) that I've written, then see what happens. I'll probably post something every few days.
It's a good beginning, and that portends more good things to come. Hurrah!
